The artist's first solo exhibition in the city since 2019 brings together the signature elements of his diverse practice, exploring the relationship between physical space, movement and the passage of time. Penfold (Tim Gresham, b. 1987) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Bristol, known for his graphic, abstract work spanning large-scale murals, canvas and sculpture.

For the exhibition, Penfold has created a new body of work shown alongside earlier pieces, revisiting motifs and ideas from his practice when he first moved to Bristol 11 years ago. Returning to these early visual languages has allowed him to reconnect with ideas and narratives associated with that period of his life, while viewing them through the perspective of his evolving practice.
