Charming Cotswold A Frame - Emily Payne
Brimming with colour and eclectic style, Emily Payne’s chalet bungalow is a treasure trove of interior design inspiration.
Emily, a magazine editor, writer and content designer, took a tired 1950’s bungalow and transformed it into a beautifully eclectic home bursting with vibrancy and individuality. Located in the Cotswold market town of Stroud, the house is a joyful space full of colour, retro touches and subtle nods to the “nana house” that it once was.
As the former editor of Circus, a Bristol and Bath lifestyle journal, Emily used her knowledge of local independents to furnish her home. The bungalow showcases wares from several Bristol creatives and suppliers including illustrator Naomi Wilkinson, kitchen designers Jetsam Made, and Lowlands lighting shop.
Championing individuality and embracing the realities of everyday living, Emily has created an inviting home full of characterful design and personal touches.
