"We have loved living in Totterdown and think William Street must be one of the best situated in Bristol. We will miss the lovely Sundial Kitchen at the bottom of the road (best brunch in Bristol!), chatting to the friendly owners of Bakehouse before popping next door for fresh veggies for lunch from Banana Boat, or eating a pizza in the sun outside Florence listening to music. Our home has been perfect for hosting friends and family with its open kitchen and dining room, and the peaceful lush back garden is an oasis, where the olive tree often makes it feel like you're on holiday!"
William Street sits in the heart of Totterdown and nearby the beautiful Victoria Park and north of Perrett's Park. This quiet street has the best of both worlds, with a fantastic array of cafes, restaurants and independent shops on Wells Road, as well as some fantastic local pubs including the Star and Dove, Shakespeare and the Oxford. Places on Wells Road, such as Fox & West, an independent café and greengrocers selling a diversity of local produce, Southside Bar and Farrow's Fish & Chips offer some of the best options in the city. Green spaces are in plentiful supply, with Arnos Vale being an idyllic Victorian garden cemetery with the café at its heart, the incredible views of Perrett Park, as well as the 50 acres of Victoria Park. Totterdown offers easy access to and from the city, with Bath Road offering an easy link to Bath, the Portway taking you to the M5 and the M32 to the M4 and beyond. Temple Meads Train Station is also a short walk or cycle away, offering connections nationally. Travelling southwards, you find yourself in the Mendips, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
A beautifully presented three bedroom mid terrace house in Totterdown. Downstairs there is a spacious living room to the front with bay window and Victorian fireplace. To the rear is the dining room with wooden floors and plenty of understairs storage, this room is semi open plan to the kitchen which has plenty of units and a window overlooking the garden. There is also a downstairs bathroom with bath which is reached from the kitchen. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, the master having an en suite shower room and a third single bedroom which would make a perfect office or nursery. The rear garden is paved with some lovely mature shrubs and a glorious olive tree.
